Scottish have a very though accent and this made me improve my english even more, but most of the time is spent with other international students and this doesn't help too much

It's difficult at the beginning to cope with the local accent, but once you are familiar with it and with some expressione, you don't have problems at all

Scottish accent can be hard to understand at times. This is especially true in Paisley where locals are known for their way of speaking. I had few situations when it was impossible for me (and for my friends) to understand what is being said to me. However, when you get used to the accent it's gets much better.
In the university I have never had language problems. Teachers speak clearly.
