“Great setting and tutorial system”

OverallGreat institution in a beautiful historic city, full of iconic buildings. The tutorial system is a big plus as everyone has more face-to-face time with professors who are at the top of their respective fields.

that lectures are very poor and some tutors, too and that most of the students arbe between 18 and 22.

if you like studying for yourself, eating books, then you are going to like oxford. if you are used to good food, nice weather and mountains think twice about it.
if you have time to travel, make sure to visit scottland and wales, england is rather unexciting, except culture. therefore: see one of shakespeare's plays at stratford, stay at the castle in durham and visit london as often as you can!
