I go to the Uni of Manchester where I study French and Business Management. Everyone is really friendly, helpful, and I absolutely love my course. I am planning to do a year of study/work abroad which is offered for language studies.

Matt's and Phred's (a jazz club) close to piccadilli gardens and comedy store. Very nice places with excellent live music

Manchester has the largest student population in Europe, so naturally there are many places that cater to the university crowd. While I cannot choose a single spot, Manchester is a city filled with numerous gems of bars, restaurants, and night clubs. I particularly enjoyed going to Matt and Phred's, a jazz club in the Northern Quarter.
