Malta is an island country and very expensive one. Its lira is one of the most expensive currencies in the world. Maltese islands are mostly rocks so agriculture developed badly. Plus no oil or gas and other stuff. So they have to ship almost everything into the state. Housing though isalmost the same as the appartment in Kyiv. Nightlife is cheaper because the entance to all the clubs is free and drinks are not that expensive as well. Travelling took less coz it is possible go everywhere by bus which is cheap and the trip will not be long at all.

my favorite night spot is in Paceville's street.that street is full of nightclub.and Malta is famous for that.for furthers informations,there is no problem.I keep contact with some friends who are internationals students and could give you some updates news about parties and dinner...

Can't avoid Paceville. Pretty much all the bars play the same music but its jokes with a good group of friends. Check out BJ's for live jazz if your tired of listening to the "DJ" play the same CD over and over again.
Golden Bay is great for evening bbq's.
