University of Malta

University Residence - that's what they offer usually. Well, located in the middle of the island in a posh area. There is a free bus service from the residence to uni every hour or something. Pretty expensive, the rooms are tiny but they have almost already connected the internet to each of them where u can use the university account so u do not have to pay for the internet at all. The staff is very helpful. Always lots of people around parting, swimming in the pool, yelling, cooking, making lots of noise. Not a good place for studies! BUT a good place to get to know people and make good friends.

i improved a lot my english because the communication in the residence and in the university is high.and you have no choice to learn without realizing it.

English is the official language if teh university but sometimes teh teachers and students speak in maltese so you have to remind them to speak english.

I used to travel twice a year to England London and attend english language courses to improve my knowledge so i did not have any problems in that area

it was the best place i have never lived in!
