I already had a deeep knowledge of everyday language when I arrived. While I was there i focused on learning legal and technical terminology and some slang

I spoke english, before going to the UK but after a couple of years in the UK and the proficiency test I can say that my English is much better now.

it wa easier to meet international people who speak english though sometimes i found difficulties to come into contact with local student and practising my english

I had lots of opportunities to chat with local students, but it was not enough.I should have made more chances to talk to them.
