Everything was fine, people were understanding and patient with international students. I liked the system of a test to see who still needs language lessons!

I already had a deeep knowledge of everyday language when I arrived. While I was there i focused on learning legal and technical terminology and some slang

Very well, although I couldnt understand my friends sometimes b/c of the 'British jargon' they were happy and often very amused to explain it to me.

I spoke english, before going to the UK but after a couple of years in the UK and the proficiency test I can say that my English is much better now.
