I don't believe that the exams were fair assessments of students' knowledge. Professors should be sensitive to the fact that we are in a different environment and attempt to seek alternative teaching techniques.

I didnt speak any Italian before I came, but now I not only speak the language, but I enjoy being immersed in the culture. I have to be able to speak the language in order to survive here.

The closes train station is 25 minutes away, which incurs another cost (taxi) when you want to travel by train. As with most countries within Europe, travel is relatively cheap. It is important however to keep a close watch on your funds and how the exchange rate affects your spending.

The housing and food were included in the tuiton. However, after consistently eating similar meals, I diverted to restaurants in the proximity. Also, when traveling to other countries, I spent a significant amount of money on food and housing.

The housing was sufficient to a certain extent. I had a roommate, but wish that I could have got a single room. However, we had maids that cleaned the rooms twice a week.

Paderno del Grappa is a very small town. The students usually went to a bar located down the street called "La Piazza". There was a nice Pizzeria a little further down called La Orchidea. We are an hour by train from Venice so when we had time off from school that where we went.
