My university groomed me with good communication skills and shaped me to a better professional individual. It was a great learning overall with a higher standard of vocabulary and introducing myself to new terminologies.

At the beginning it was very strange because people in the west Yorkshire has a strange accent. But then I have no trouble with the comprehension.

Attaining pretty decent level of English during my studies in Poland and my summer jobs in America I found language spoken in England a little bit more difficult due to variety of accents and wide range of vocabulary used in every day's life. West Yorkshire accent typical for the region used to cause some difficulties for me at the very begining of my stay in Huddersfield.

As I have attended International schools prior to the University exchange programme, I do not feel that I needed to learn it better, but merely get to use English in the country where it is best spoken.

The university is located in Yorkshire, which means everyone has a very strong accent. I would not recommend this university to anyone who has not fluent knowledge of English. Beginners may struggle a lot.
