i was living in self contained flat on my own.the standard of my flat was v.high,once a fortnight the cleaner was coming. yes, i know, a bit snobby, but it was better than sharing one shower with 11 other people

Despite the fact that at first we all thought we were living in jail, with such grey bricks all over the walls, we had an amazing year, sharing a flat with
11 other people from all around the world! I'd do exactly the same again!

The rooms were a bit small and sad, but with posters and personal touch, everything's all right! The kitchen was to share, the shower too, with 2 WC. There was a Tv and reccorder in the kitchen. Enough shelves in the fridge for everybody, equal for the cupboard. Nothing bad, everything perfect! I loved it!

There are only a couple of clubs in Exeter. We spent a lot of time at the Warehouse down at the Quay. It's not fantastic, but it's not bad as far as student nightlife goes. There's also a nice pizza place nearby. In town there's a jazz cafe that had regular live music -- I think it was called Dix-Neuf.
One thing that I really recommend is taking the canal boat down to the Double Locks pub. You can go on a sunny Sunday afternoon and have a really nice roast dinner, then have a leisurely stroll back.

the phoenix was something special.it was placed at the end of a narrow lane just rear the high street.It was the bar next to the place where the cultural activities and expositions were hosted.
