I wish I had known...
I wish that I had saved more money before coming as Cambridge does not allow students to work during term time.

Cambridge is a good location from which to visit places in Europe (if you have the time). Transportation makes nearby London airports very accessible.

Friendly academic staff

Having supervisions means you can tailor your course to your interests and discuss those interests with your supervisors. Naturally, not every supervisor is perfect but I've really liked all of mine and have found them very academically supportive. The course is broad and has opportunity to discuss a range of topics within your field and to narrow down what you personally want to focus on.

You get free access to every book published and you're taught by leading figures in your field, so pretty good. The supervision system is great if you like close contact time with people who know the material well. Lots of societies and programmes to be a part of too. Hard to find time to really take advantage of everything on offer, to be honest.

Overall
