“My journey at UBC so far”
Jaanvi S
Japan, Undergraduate
Business Studies, 2022
Overall
I am studying at the Okanagan campus of University of British Columbia (UBCO), the less "popular" campus. When I initially applied to University of British Columbia, I applied to get into the Vancouver campus. Unfortunately I did not manage to get into the Vancouver campus but I got in the Okanagan campus. I must say it is one of the best decisions of my life. Although some courses are not worth the money that I have to pay as an international student. I love how the community is small and loving. It gives a chance to connect with your professors!

“Very international and Great Programs”
Joshua S
Canada, Undergraduate
Environmental Sciences, 2021
Overall
UBC is a great school for connecting with people from all over the world. It is what inspired me to look outside of Canada for work and educational opportunities.
Additionally, the environmental science program and Indigenous studies program are great for giving students real-world experience and challenging them to not just accept leading theories on environmental or anti-oppression work but to read and study lots to form their own opinions and theories.
