Si lo hubiera sabido...

I would have studied a better programme, for instance a MBA instead of a MSc. in Manufacturing.I am not happy with the quality of the taught programme.

I think English Universities see the academic experience as a business making money, they ask you for money for all the things (Imagine overseas students paying 10000 sterling pounds for the Master that later on have to pay 35 pounds for a compulsory course of the Master.It seems ridiculous,this money it is not included in the 10000 pouns, it has not style. The level of the programme is not very high.

I extremely recommend the experience of studying abroad, you meet interesting people from many countries,you are independent,you can find a job easily. The academic experience has not been very interesting and challenging for me, almost all the subjects I hd studied them during my degree.

The university campus is really nice, but Birmingham is a quite boring and ugly industrial city. You need to like living in a very big and grey city!

My academic experience there was great and the studies level is quite high. The campus is big and green, and you can find a lot of social opportunities there.

Travel within the UK with the young person railcard, which saves you up to 1/3 of train prices. Visit the job center of the university, they have a lot of positions to offer.

I visited a lot of part in UK and London by night. It's a nice country, even if i prefer France. i will tell for the student who want to come at Birmingham, it's a big City and you can do all you want ....just a question of time.

The university has serious issues. Housing is expensive. The way to assess students is not satisfying, you only have exams at the end of the year. The teachers are not allowed to give enough help because of general practices from the country.

if you want to make the best of stay and cutting on cost in this place you need to find yourself accomodayion which is quite cheaper outside the university. Also u need prepare well. also if your objective is studying then u should start doing so as soon as you arrive because if you let the work load build up you may not withstand the pressure. The lecturers i quite understanding

I wish I had the information on private accommodation before signing a contract for the university one. This could have saved me a lot of money

Academically it is one of the best science unuversity more especially when interested in the research and molecular science. Therefore highly recommend it.

If one is european there is not much difference in transport with other european countries or even the social life. For people from the tropical countries might find the place extremely cold especially around dec/jan, wet most of the times. One should be ready for cultural shock in the student residential flats in the university.
