I was a furniture and product design major. It was very difficult to find a direct exchange program with any other school. By taking a summer program I advanced my credits and had the opportunity to learn about art, architecture and theater in another culture, even if it was similar to my own.

I think I made the right choice when I decided to go to UCL, because of its location (central London), its academic performances (3rd or 4th university in UK in overall).
I would then recommend to anyone to go to UCL, they won't regret it.

Si j'y retournais je choisirais: same: room in the same residence
Pourquoi?
I would choose the same residence because it was really convenient (close to university, to central London, TV room, computer room,...)

The university proposes different kind of residence (close to university or not, different prices, self cathering or not, etc...). Most of the time, the student can choose the residence he wants. But make sure you choose the right one from the beginning because after it is quite hard to change from one university to another...
