the language of instruction is English. i havelearned to read and write in English before learning to do so in my maternal language so that English is almost my native language. This is ideal in a country such as Holland. it is not merely a fairy tale, everyone there really does speak English (and many speak French as well). Considering, the discovery of a new language never a flaw, I prefered to go on exchange in a country where my main activities would be in English having the opportunity to learn a bit of a new llanguage such as Dutch.

All people can speak English, so it's easy for me to study and live in Utrecht. But I think it's necessary to study some Dutch, that would be helpful to get some internship or job here.

Make friends with your erasmus fellows and go with them to their home countries!!! In Holland: possible to get a discount card for public transportation, particularly for trains (and allows you to travel with 3 other friends at the same discount) Do not forget to register at the city hall, and if you work you must have an insurance! A lot of low costs airplane companies throughout Nl.

UTRECHT IS IN THE MIDDLE OF EUROPE: YOU CAN TRAVEL IN A VERY EASY WAY!FURTHERMORE IT IS A UNIVERSITY CITY AND MORE YOU CAN EASLY FIND A LOT OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS!

If you don't mind the rain, the Netherlands has a lot to offer for studies. Utrecht is a miniature version of Amsterdam and is a great place to go for studying. Amsterdam is only half an hour away if you are in need of bigger cultural events.
