Maastricht is an international student town plus the Dutch are very proficient in English which makes everyday life in Maastricht problemfree.

maastricht is a good choice to improve your english but to be able to follow the courses your english shouldn't be too bad at the beginning!

i had the opportunity to have conversation in english also with the local people, so i had no problems from this point of view

There was no problems in communication since at the university and outside the university everyone were speaking English

The local language is dutch, which is difficult, but EVERYONE speaks fluent english, so there is no need to know dutch
