Université de Picardie Jules Verne

They had a shortage of accommodations for the international students when I arrived. So, I was put in "temporary" housing until they could find me something more permanent. They ended up placing me with two very nice French students (actually cousins!). However, my experience was not the same as the other exchange students. Most of the other exchange students live on-campus in the dorms, which I have been told are disgusting and roach infested (and this information is not just from students!).

It was O.K since I am not too exigent, however i would have liked a better place to live, at least with my own bathroom and kitchen

On Campus Recidences are not in a very good condition and are away from the center, the rent is very accessible though.

The location of my apartment was excellent and the facilities were reasonable and very reasonably priced, but I lived with only other foreign students, not French students. This made getting to know the natives a little difficult.
