At first it was difficult for me because before I went to the host country I really didn't speak the language. Living with a french family truly made my experience better. I learned more about the culture, language, and customs than I would have if I lived by my self. I think thats the best way to advance and take advantage of the experience. I have learned so much. I still keep in touch with my family

Being a native speaker of french, i was looking for a university to help me, perfect my language skills. University de Perpignan did just that. i am leaving the school more confident in communication, both verbally and orally.

I was always a confident person but after having such a wonderful opportunity of getting to know (learn) Italian, French and English admist the native speakers, I have experienced a boost in my confidence.

they speak catalan in perpignan, its like an ancient spanish langauge. its difficult, so try to stay away from it and learn french instead

I was fairly adept at speaking French before I attended Perpignan, so my knowledge was minimal. I improved my grammatical skills immensely but vocabularly and accent did not improve that much.
