“Excellent and enriching stay”

Évaluation globale
During my Bachelor's degree, I had to follow a lot of courses such as corporate Strategy, Corporate Finance, Human Resource Management, Law of Obligations, Business Administration, Financial Accounting and Management of Responsible Projects. These courses enabled me to focus strongly on acquiring the quantitative skills needed for developing analytical skills, critical thinking and the ability to understand and responsibly solve tomorrow's complex problems. In addition, the Master in Management I chose provided me with the knowledge and skills needed to head a business or an organization, with management tools and techniques, as well as with their underlying principles and theories. Several courses such as Management Innovation, Managing Growth, Global Strategy or even Change Management trained me to get a comprehensive knowledge of business issues and a specialization in strategic and international management.

“Diversity and opportunity”

Suisse, Master
Gestion d'entreprise, 2021
Évaluation globale
Different type of class where the students are pushed over their limits. Some of courses are very interactive and mix the final grade with intermediary evaluation or competition which keep the students highly concentrated during all the semester. Also the international dimension of the university push and allow the students looking for opportunities out of the country. In the University, many student associations help students to find group of friend, sport activity or job opportunities.

Points forts
Very large amount topics are studied (Statistics, econometrics, management, coding, consulting). Large amount of tool are given to students.
Inconvénients
This same large amount of tools could lose the student who do not know yet what they want to do.

“Great University to study”

Relations Internationales, 2023
Évaluation globale
Studying International Relations in Geneva and particularly at university was one of the most rewarding experience I had! Had so many courses, various subjects and seminars. Professors are very accessible (usually), they are always open to talk after class if they have time. The buildings are great as well, the libraries are amazing to study in.

I wish I had taken into greater consideration the prevalence and growth of English in Europe, particularly in an international, diplomatic city like Geneva.

Recommandation personnelle
Because my stay was only a month for the three-week summer language courses for non-native French speakers, I can only minimally describe the University's resources. However, I can say that the University was very cooperative, accessible, and clean. I would have loved to extend my stay. I feel that the diversity of the campus and city make UniGe a very attractive site for students from anywhere in the world to participate in academic activity there.

Personally, I feel that Geneva has something to offer everyone. The diversity of the city as well as the cultural and linguistic diversity of the Swiss nation will provide students and travellers the opportunity to experience and encounter many tastes within a small area. Switzerland's central location on the continent makes it a good choice for those who wish to travel extensively in Europe without getting too far from their Swiss accomodations. The cleanliness and security along with the efficient railways and public transportation should close the deal for anyone interested. However, prices are high and businesses/establishments close early in the afternoon. I strongly recommend the University of Geneva and study throughout Switzerland to study abroad students.
