I would choose an appartment closer to the old town. My appartment was located in one of the "HLM" buidlings, and it was really loud there.

I found the accomodation to be located a little too far away from the university and the rooms were tiny.

The campus room was very, very small and dark and the facilities (bathroom and kitchen) were always dirty.
