Université Montesquieu - Bordeaux IV

I would again go look for an apartment in the centre of Bordeaux. I went to Bordeaux a few month before my arrival to look for an apartment, together with two other friends. We found something in the centre, which was the best place to be located and we even payed less then we payed for housing in Belgium, which was a nice surprise! I would recommend to go live in the centre, because that's where it all happens, and you can go to campus by train easily. Besides going to classes, I don't know what you schould do at campus anyway.

My apartment was central in Bordeaux yet still on the tram line so I could get to university with minimum fuss. Living near to the Hotel De Ville was brilliant as I was excellently placed for everything; food shopping, other shopping, museums, art galleries, restaurants, bars, cafes, pubs, clubs etc. Of course this was an expensive decision to make, but I do not regret it for a second.

Perhaps "Les Villages" are not in central town, but they are perfect to meet french people and socialize.

2 years on campus it's enough

because it was very close to the university and there were also lots of other erasmus students
