UCLy, Catholic University of Lyon
Charly D
France, Undergraduate
International Relations, 2022
Overall
There are many different schools within the Catholic University of Lyon. I was at ESTRI, school for international careers. This specific school is a three years program to get a double degree in communication and translation/interpretation. After those three years you can even stick to the same school to pursue a master's degree in event planning or translation.

The double degree provides teaching in english, spanish, german, italian and chinese (you choose 2 languages before entering) and offers classes for beginners who want to learn another language like japanese, mandarin, russian, arabic and more.

In first year you go abroad for 3 to 4 months to practice your english and in third year it is 4 to 6 months in any country you would like to go to, to do an internship or a semester in a foreign university.

The school is great for students who look up to an international career.

Overall
During my time as a student I have been able to develop the way I learn and interact with others to a degree that has also helped me to mature into a better person.  I have come to believe that this maturity will help me to develop into a better thinker as well, one that has the patience to listen and take consideration of what others have to say.  I consider the act of learning a two way avenue that has to be taken seriously.  It is one that involves the teacher, and the protégé.  It has been, and will continue to be, my absolute goal as a student to become a diligent protégé and acquire all of learning my teachers have set in front of me.  The way each of them have helped me to think about how my actions, and the way I choose to study my lessons and develop as a student, has made a tremendous impact on my life.  This impact is one that I will carry into the future as I myself advance in my professional studies.

Master Manager QSE
Gwennaëlle D
France, Graduate
Engineering, 2020
Overall

Université Catholique de Lyon is a very well organized university. The staff is well prepared to receive the students, the classes are in accordance with the course theme. The library for books in english must be better, there is a lack of books.
