Do not miss the Festival du Court Métrage (short film festival), even if you think that type of thing is not your cup of tea. It's very enjoyable. Be sure to see the Rue du Port/Place Delille area of town!

Its close to the university or the work place and with other studnets like oneself, the ambiance is great.

There are two hostels for foreign students but they have to be reserved a semester in advance as by the time of the start of engineering year, there is no place left. The problem is that there are more students and less university residences
