good language courses, but tough to follow the lessons in german (also the professors where a bit boring, and some classes huge)

At the beggining it was difficult to follow lessons in german, but then I managed to write notes and understand the teacher pretty well. And finally,I managed to write my exams in german!

I find German difficult compared to other languages such as English, but I wanted to learn it and that's what I did.

I really improved my knowledge of German. Especially the conversations and jokes with my WG-neighbours helped improving my German. At the end I even dreamt in German.

If you take subjects in German then obviously it's an opportunity to improve your language skills. The pre-semester language course was also of great quality and free!

I was extremly satisfied with the fact that German became the official languge among students as well as one of my goals was improving my German visiting Cologne.
