I have learned German for ten years in Croatia, but I started to speak the language pretty well after the language course I took. At first, I have had some problems, but now I feel comfortable speaking German.

Quite good, because most of German speaking people can also good English, so I improved both of my foreigen languages. Sometimes I have problems with dialect and "german English":P

Coming to Vienna, I had no prior knowledge of German. Now I can pretty much manage throughout the day alone- something I am truly happy about given the difficulty of the language!

I had classes in English, so there were no difficulties in communications. But I spoke German verywhere else and I took two German courses, so my German improved a lot.

Grasped language pretty quickly as liased a lot with local people which was a great help. Extral language tuition for international students also very helpfull.
