The old students residence was pretty expensive relatively to the facilities avaiable. The food in a students restaurant was not very good and also the cleanliness of the toilets was quite bad sometimes but a new buildind was a hole new world, very comfortable and modern and almost the same price, so you should just be lucky to get the room there.

It has been really easy for me the accommodation at this university; i only recommend to learn some German or French before going to the Université de Fribourg.

I was very lucky with my accomodation. You need to know that Fribourg is a very small city, full of students all year long, and students use to rent their appartment for 2 years at least.
