Overall
I studied at MIREES, which is a very particular programme available at University of Bologna. It is a highly competitive, international course organised by the University of Bologna, University of Kaunas “Vytautas Magnus” and Saint Petersburg State University. In particular, during these two years I acquired a knowledge of research methodologies and reports, as well as organizational, analytical, multifunctional, cross-cultural mindset skills.

In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
Go there to study and to travel, if you go. In Forlí there are other students too, but certainly not that many as in Bologna. So if it's nightlife and 'ordinary Erasmus' that you're after, go to a bigger place.

Final comments
When travelling in Italy, skip the north. The south is much more fun.

Overall
The University of Bologna is a very ancient institution with a vibrant environment: international students occur from all over the World. I had the chance of attending lectures held by Higher Courts judges from the first year and to go to Courts with some professors, to do the Erasmus abroad, to study many subjects (elective) that made me aware of the field I would like to work in.
