Since I didnt speak a word of Italian when I got here the first few weeks were a bit frustrating and quite many do not speak any english. But with improving language skills life became more easy and more fun here.

There are also lots of international opportunities tu study abroad.
Be careful with parties: not a lot of them, but if you like to study I can only suggest it to you.

Well no "real" nighlife exists in Trento, except on special occasions. "Clubs" are outside of town (20-50km) But best cafes those dominated by students close to faculty of sociology
