I had the opportunity to live with an Italian student during my stay in Milan. I feel I got much more from my year in this way. I learnt about Italian culture and vastly improved my language skills.

In argentina the coin is four time cheaper than the euro. Besides Milan is very expensive.

It would be nice to learn Italian, so make sure you arrive early to take the course at Bocconi, I missed it...:( You could alse learn other languages at Bocconi free of charge, but they were instructed in Italian

I think my language skills improved a lot. Locals were friendly to foreigners and this helped to practice the language. Teachers spoke mainly the local language so foreigners had to do the effor to comunicate.

I wish I had known...

I wish Id have from the start hung out more with the Italian students from the beginning instead of falling back on the English speaking international students.
