In the beginning I had some trouble communicating in the local language. Thanks to my roommates, who were for the most part Germans at the time, my German improved day to day. I passed the German DSH certification examination during my stay with an abover average result. Hannover is an ideal place to learn German because beautiful Hochdeutsch is spoken there.
