If you want to do an internship, be aware that you should plan it as soon as you get there, in that sense there will be many more chances the internship you want. Ask your teachers, most of them are very nice people. And make sure not to forget to have fun!

Because there is more cultural interaction either with people from the host country and either with other foreign students

The housing was pretty good, overall I could't ask for more, specially because I had my own space and the family helped during the first days and it was very handy to my cultural adaptation.
