Course recommendations
You have to follow each course with the maximum attention because the most of the teachers doesn't allow you to study individually and do directly the final exam.

Travel around POrtugal as much as possible. Eat the local produce, it is fantastic. Buy a monthly travel pass for whichever type of transport you use regularly. Also buy a young peoples' travel card, the student ISIC card isn't recognised.

if you are deciding to study fashion, please do the favor to never do it here, i came as an exchange student and the pattern class was like a professor sending us a picture and then do the patterns, and also they said you can do things you want but doesn´t work like that even if it´s based on your inspiration. They are not organize, people bought fabric with the group and doesn´t receive  it with the excuse that you need to take it at the time, idk that is not something from a serious University

Personal comments
Portugal is inexpensive. It is still sort of an unspoiled country in the tourist department. It isn't a huge destination. Food is inexpensive. Beer is cheap and delicious. People are friendly and the public transportation is user friendly and inexpensive as well.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Because I like to have an independent life from university, I like to share the house with different people, but with rules we decide, not imposed (as in residences)

Personal comments
All I know is that even if the accommodation at the university was cheaper, you had to share the room, and I didn't like it
