I wanted to visit courses in english because I had not been taking English-classes for quite a while and felt that my knowledge had somehow vamished. As I had already learned Spanish at University, I reckoned that I could handle Portugues quite well which was actually the case. I was able to fix my English and learn the basics of Portugues.

Final comments
Lisbon was a good place to travel and to meet people. Renting a car or taking a bus to go to Algarve or to Alentejo is worth and doesn't cost too much. There are also a lot of places to visit near Lisbon.

Everybody within the erasmus community is speaking english, so it is quite hard to study portuguese......

do not take the courses to easy as they seem to be in the beginning. The exams at the end are quite difficult!

travel tips: Porto, Sagres, Lagos, Sintra, Setubal, Evora,... (the best is to rent a car, you can see morge in less days!)
