Using your mobile phone without a contract (I only had a prepaid card) is very expensive! Travelling with buses is the cheapest I have ever seen (11Euros to Barcelona). And housing was only cheaper because I am living alone in Germany.

I had to pay much more additional charges for electricity, water, gas, etc. than I was told. You should have a written confirmation of what you need to pay for living including ANY additional charges!
