I was dependent on my host family (which was very good at the time), but if I were to go back, I would like to be more independent, just for the experience.

The host family that I was with was GREAT! My "mother" did everything for us and really looked out for us. The university was great and accomodated us as much as possible. They took us on outings around Valladolid.

All the Erasmus students found flats together, they were cheap, central and very easy to find
