Try to make more events to intergrate foreign students with local students. Too many 'Erasmus' student events. Whilst you meet many students from all over Europe, you don't get to mix with the s=Spanish students.

Final comments

Do as much travelling as you can. Travel in Spain is really cheap. The coaches are clean and on tinme. I personally recommend Barcelona, Seville, Portugal (5 hrs on coach from Salamanca) and Valencia.

Try to enjoy the sports, language courses, trips and other offers from the University. It is very good in extra-curricular activities.

I had a great experience. My advices are that you study the language because all classes are in spanish and that you look for the people o organize events for Erasmus students because they helped me a lot.

Enjoy the opportunity to travel in Spain (it's not very expensive).. And remember that Salamanca can be very cold in the Winter and extremely hot in summer (It goes from -8 to 38).. Since April, Plaza Mayor becomes PLAYA mayor. Have fun

Take half the clothes and double the money.

Everyone should live abroad sometime in their life. Salamanca was a nice place.
