Gramatically, Spanish is quite an easy language to learn but the Andaluz accent is more difficult to understand because they cut off half of the words when they speak. Try to find someone from Granada and speak to them beforehand.

as all the courses taught in Granada University are in Spanish this was a perfect way to practise my language skills. and extremely important is also to live with locals to help to acquire everyday knowledge and youth slang.
