I lived near the university, so my transport costs were lower than in London. I didn't use a mobile phone nor a home phone so that cost was lower too. The nightlife in Bs As is expensive but Belgrano organised free parties at different nightclubs every week so that kept that cost down. The food in supermarkets was many times slightly more expensive than in London.

Bs As is normally expensive but after the parity with the dollar was dropped, it's now a lot cheaper. Go to the parties that Belgrano organises because they are good and that way you save a lot of money. Make an effort to find cheaper restaurants because they do exist (ie don't stick to Recoleta).
If you study business, especially marketing, choose the courses for posgraded in "La Escuela de Comercio". The quality is a lot better than in "La Torre".
Anyway, don't come to Buenos Aires -Belgrano University just for the studies, courses are generally disppointing and most foreign students agree.
