Pamplona is really a great place to go out. We went out every week, more than once a week while in brussels I never went out and still don't.
Best cafés are : el Meson de la Navarreria, bar Los Portales, Otano, Garazi, El Portal, and many many more.
The hottest day is the thursday, everyone at Los Portales, happy hours till 1pm, then arround 2pm, everyone swithes to El Marengo(nightclub), free entrance till 3pm, incredible place to meet and danc with people from spain and from the whole "erasmus and other programs students".
