I did stay in University dorms for a month while I searched for an ideal apartment. In my experiences there, I did not find the sense of community I was looking for, nor the highest quality of space and location. This realization served to further encourage my patience for my ideal apartment to show itself after three weeks of dogged research and "pavement pounding."

If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
Because if the campus is centric, it is easier to get to the facilities everyday and one still is able to access to the city without great inconveniences.

The facilities were very good and the staff extremely helpful. The learning experience was very different from the one I had in Portugal because teachers in UCM were more interested in free thinking and personal development than in plain books and notes reproduction.

Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: With a family
Why?
This is a hard question because most students want their freedom. Luckily, I was blessed with a relaxed environment and was forced to speak the language.
