Compared to other universities in Spain, academic work-load can be tough, in particular for foreign students with limited language skills. University is known for its ambitous student body.

As an Erasmus-student, make a preselection of interesting courses before you go abroad. You can then check out the courses during the first two weeks of the semester, and submit the course registration form after you have made an appropriate selection.

Good University
María M
Spain, Undergraduate
Political Science, 2022
Overall
This University is a pretty good one. The teachers are usually experts on the field, some of them very well-known but the amount of workload is pretty big. They use a method of continuous assessment where you have to work the whole year and apart from that study for a final exam. More of their degrees are bilingual.

Calidad de enseñanza
Artur H
Spain,
Engineering, Mechanical, 2023
Overall

Come completely open minded and do not expect to have same lifestyle you had at home, otherwise you'll feel very frustrated fist time you have to do you own laundry jeje. Prepare yourself to a huge challenge and try to enjoy the city, and take it the first month as an adventure and you'll have fun!

carlos III de madrid enjoys very good reputation in spain. erasmus student's are treated the same way as spanish students (no extra points in exams or easier exams). who entends to enjoy a very relaxed term should go for another university

Grado en Sociología
Andrea R
Spain, Undergraduate
Sociology, 2020
Overall
