I was living in the centre of Barcelona,staying with spanish people,it was difficult at the start but it got easier and is definetly the best way to meet new people and to improve a foreign language.

Because I consider myself very independent... And I like to have a space of my own... Althougt I recognize that living with other people would have helped to enjoy of different experiences... But right noe I'm working on my personal growth.

The accomodation offered by the uni is expensive and the main problem is that you have to share your bedroom. Plus, the Universitat Autonoma is very far from BCN centre, not very convenient!

I stayed at a small town near the university campus; living in Barcelona would have been much better and the price, surprisingly, about the same.

The university campus is really far from the center of Barcelona, like 30km. You will enjoy much more your experience ir you're living in the center. you will find prices in range of 300 to 400 (normal erasmus houses) depending on the location, facilities and so

Why?
I don´t like to live with families. I like the independence. Besides, I had to travel by train to go to university. I was looking for an appartment that was close to the trainstation in the centre of Barcelona.
