Alcohol (Drinks) and food in general is more expensive than in Germany. It is not easy to get a normal phone-connection to your room. A deposit has to be paid for this. => It is better to use a mobile phone in Finland.

Go to the market place to buy vegetables. Donīt spend too much money in alcohol. Pay attention to your insurance, the health-care-center gives you only basic help.

Price level in Finland is higher than in the Czech Republic. I have wanted to travel around and to see the country so I have spent more on the fares, prices of the housing have been fixed so I can economize only on the non-essential items as the phone bill of night life expenditures.

Finalnd is generally mcuh more expensive country than any of the CEE countries. Still, they have a number of student reductions for boarding and travelling.
