Even though the classes were taught in English interacting with the locals was almost impossible without the knowledge of French. Contrary to the majority of the French citizrns, the Toulousains are very friendly. They love to correct you, and if they speak a bit of English they are more than eager to chat.

The teachers are great and you can have classes in French or in English. The only downside is that sometimes the teachers' level of English is not so good, it is quite rare though.
