it is so much easier to learn a language when you are abroad and in contrast to my home university the language of instruction was also Chinese (much better!), because of the foreign students in the dormitory you can improve other languages easily, too

Exchange students are well-advised taking at least basic Chinese class;unless,it's quite hard to tackle everyday situations.

it's pretty difficult to communicate when your not fluent at all. But with the time, and with patience, everythings get better, people take the time to listen to you.
