“Internationally dynamic university in Hong Kong”

Overall

HKU is the most international university in Hong Kong. From teachers to students to exposure opportunities you will most definitely come across different cultures through your study.

Careers

Most students have to arrange internship opportunities for themselves but the university channels recruitment advertisement regularly so students can find suitable offerings by monitoring the central career advice portal.

Why?

because in the hall was not that much space and there are only double rooms, sometimes a bit of privacy would have been nice

housing in general is very good, rooms are functional and clean, and every exchange student gets a space, in most halls only double rooms are available.

Personal comments

English spoken inside the class was fine. However dont count on hearing it apart from class. Everyone on the Island of HK speaks english pretty well. Be warned this can change in the New Territories and by the time you hot the boarder no one will be able to speak it.

I wish I had known...

yeah if your not 21 alot of clubs won't let you in even though drinking age is only 18. And you may want to consider soming with a friend.

work it all out when you get here, don't think anything before you've done it, you'll either be dissapointed or jaded. and there are only so many temples one can visit.
