Being in and exchange program was a very usefull experience because I developed myself. I learnt another language and an unknown culture. I knew people for every country and all of Europe. I think this is an incredible experience everybody should have.

I decide to apply for The Haagse Hogeschool because the language of intruction is in English and it has an iternational atmosphere. Both things have help me to improove my english.

Normally I had never had any problems with languages becuase most of the people knew how to speak in English, and you needed learn Dutch, there were Dutch modules for foreingers.

As everyone in the Netherlands seems to speak English fluently and almost perfectly, communication is not a problem at all! Dutch could be learned at university and has actually improved quite significantly since the beginning.

Because I am from Belgium I sort of spoke the local language, so that wasn't any problem. Anyway, I spoke more English than Dutch because all my courses were in English and all my friends spoke English. Nice language experience.

I choose the Netherlands because I thought it was easier to learn a language with "non native" English speaker. At the end I get the chance to improve my English and to learn Dutch
