Course recommendations
I am enroled in a course named International Business Management Studies - the requirements are slightly different from my home university as you have to do a lot of presentations, group work and report writing. Courses are generally not very difficult but possibly time-consuming.

Personal comments
In the beginning it might be difficult and confusing for exchange students to make their timetables. More help and support could be offered in this area.

Personal spending habits
Food is quite expensive in the Netherlands around 1.5 time the prices we have in France. Accomodation is also more expensive because Dutch government doesn't provide any financial help for accomodations whereas the French government does.

You can get a reduction card when you buy your food in Albert Heijn. Thanks to it you can get reductions on specific products. It's always good to take it.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
I think living on campus would have been more fun because more exchange students live there. But, I enjoyed living in the house because I lived with Dutch people, which allowed my to immerse myself more in the culture.

Personal comments
The accomodation on campus is small and crowded and you really have to not mind noise because there were insane parties all the time (it is quieter in the pink building though)
