Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I could not ask for more living in a foreign country. I believe for a student is was ideal conditions. Time for studies at hours that I could adapt to without interruptions.

Personal comments
They provide means of searching for housing within the neighbourhood. Housing on campus does not exist, but they do aid you in all other respects.

Always look out for sales, and grocery shopping should be done with special care. Difference in prices from grocery store to the local market. I recommend the market, since there are more reasonable prices for vegetables and meats. Also better quality.

I advanced my language of instruction skills pretty much. R Regarding my local language skills, I only did half as well. The reason was, that students on and off-campus only used the language of instruction. I you wanted to speak the local language, you had to interfere with native speakers.

I wish I had known...
No. It was a great experience and even though there were bad moments and cultural differences, there was nothing really bad or shocking that I wish I knew before going.

Final comments
Be street smart when you are in Spain and don't count that the police will bother with small complaints (such as that your landlord rented the apartment to someone else and gave all you stuff to charity while you were gone for the summer even though you were still paying for the apartment).
