Housing was good, although you are only allowed to live in student housing for a total of 4 years.

it is completely different when you are in the country of the lanGuaGe that you study. you are in contact with the lanGuaGe all the time, with te culture, with the people, with students, and you learn so much! expressions that you never heard or the way they act with you, their habits. you need to be in the country to be really in contact with their life, with their habits.

It was really nice to live in student-dorms. I used to live in Pariser Strasse 54 which is quite far from the city centre, and from the University Campus. But the transportation was really good (strassenbahn, nachtbus, and buses allways on time). It is really close to the Rhine river, and the Bar and the Bistro really give students the opportunity to get to know each other.

I could still stand to learn a lot, especially within the academic realm, however I did just fine in the Social realm.

The best parties take place in the University Buildings, or at the International Club in Poppelsdorf. Some good places worth to visit are: Gum (Russian Bar) , Carpe (the best disco in town) , Pendel (the best place to chill out and eat goo food) , Cafe Blau and of course the best pizza EVER you can find it in Cala-Dor (Hauptbanhof)

German students were difficult to get to know and so I spoke too much English with other international students.
