“Disappointed with Lack of Support After Completing Graduate Certificate”

Évaluation globaleI completed the Graduate Certificate in Domestic and Family Violence Responses at QUT in 2024. There’s no help with gaining experience or finding work. Employers ask for paid experience, but QUT offers no placements or training. The course was promoted as a career pathway, but the support after finishing is very poor.

L'espace carrières
The QUT Careers Office provided little to no help after I completed my Graduate Certificate in Domestic and Family Violence Responses. They offered no guidance for gaining experience or finding jobs in the field. I expected more practical support and advice, especially for students entering a competitive area like community services.
